摘要

在模具加工與設計之間,常因彼此間無法有效整合,而增加設計與製

造的修改次數,故需要一有經驗的製程工程師從事模具製程規劃,以改善

此缺失。但基於目前製造業競爭激烈、人才養成不易、減少人為因素的缺

失和CAD/CAM 軟體應用普遍化等因素,發展一同步式射出成形模具電腦輔

助製程規劃系統確有其必要性。


本研究以結合同步工程觀念的IDEF0 功能模式化方法並配合模具設計,建

立一同步式模具加工製程規劃模式。根據此同步模式,設計射出成形模具

電腦輔助製程規劃系統架構構,並以知識工程、資料工程和物件導向模式

化方法整合電腦所必需處理的幾何、知識和資料,以有效的溝通整合設計

與製造,使製程規劃作業合理化、標準化、系統化與電腦化,改善人才與

技術不足的窘境,達到提昇製程規劃效率和減少模具製造成本的目的。

Abstract

Mold manufacturing process planning plays one of the key roles

in net shape product and process development. Conventionally, it

is performed by experienced process planner without sufficient

communication with mold designer and mold fabrication engineers.

This leads to the high costs, long planning time and

inconsistent quality of process plan. In recent years, the

concept of concurrent engineeringhas been widely employed to

improve product and process development efficiency and quality

by resolving all product life cycle issues at the early deign

stage. However, how concurrent engineering can help in mold

manufacturing process planning system is still a research issue.

The object of this research is to facilitate the

rationalization, concurrentization and automation of mold

manufacturing process planning and thus improve the efficiency

and quality, and reduce the cost of mold development by :(1)

developing a systematic and concurrent mold manufacturing

process planning model,(2)developing a computer-based mold

manufacturing process planning system framework based on the

model, that concurrently takes issues of mold design and mold

fabrication into consideration, and (3)developing knowledge

bases to assist concurrent type of mold manufacturing process

planning.

IDEF structural analysis methodology was employed to investigate

the characteristics of mold manufacturing process planning. The

concept of concurrent engineering and the technology of system

engineering were used to develop the computer-based concurrent

mold manufacturing process planning system framework. In

consideration of mold design and mold fabrication, databases and

knowledge bases for mold manufacturing process planning were

developed using technologies of data engineering,knowledge

engineering, and object-oriented modeling.
