摘要

現今,快速變遷的競爭環境中,創新能力與快速反應顧客需求是影響企業成功的關鍵因素,故「虛擬研發」(Virtual R&D)已為必然之趨勢。產品研發為一具高度創造力與知識密集的企業活動,若研發人員能有效率地獲取所需的知識,將能減少研發之前置時間,縮短研發流程週期,故虛擬研發之成敗將繫於有效率地知識獲取與分享。

看板管理(Kanban Management)被視為一有效的精實生產(Lean Production)工具,目前已被廣泛應用於製造業。看板是一視覺化工具,在製造流程中進行物流或信息流的傳遞,能有效的控制生產流程。為提升虛擬研發之知識流效率,本研究整合看板管理之概念與知識工程技術發展一知識看板系統,此系統能促進知識傳遞,使對的知識能在對的時間傳遞給需要的人,提升知識的再使用率。

為實現此目標,本研究首先依據虛擬企業與研發流程之特性,設計一虛擬研發模式;並分析虛擬企業中的知識類型與虛擬研發流程,設計一虛擬研發知識流模型;接著,依據虛擬研發知識流之活動需求設計一知識看板運作模型與知識看板表達模型;最後,本研究建構一知識看板系統之功能架構,並發展相關技術,依此開發知識看板系統。知識看板系統能有效地協助知識創造、儲存、傳遞與分享,以幫助研發人員建構其問題解決與產品開發之相關知識, 進而有效提昇企業競爭力,加速知識之創新。

Abstract

Virtual research and development (R&D) is inevitable to reduce the product life cycle. Enterprises tend to rely on their foreign partners for supporting technology and knowledge acquisition to conduct and improve firms’ product development with low R&D risk. R&D is a highly creative and knowledge-intensive activity, Therefore, efficient knowledge flow, which transmits the right knowledge to the right people at the right time, is key to improving efficiency of the R&D process.

kanban Management has been recognized as an important tool for the implementing lean production. Kanban supports visual production control using the card of providing information to regulate the flow of inventory and materials. To enhance the knowledge flow efficiency in the virtual R&D process, this study proposes a knowledge kanban system utilizing the philosophy of kanban management and knowledge engineering techniques. The knowledge kanban system provides visual signals to employees about relevant knowledge that is necessary to support them in executing their activities smoothly and the knowledge they need to create, share, and revise.

To achieve this objective, this study first proposes a virtual R&D model and a knowledge flow model in virtual R&D based on the analysis result of knowledge in VEs and the VE life cycle, and then designs the knowledge kanban operational model and the knowledge kanban representation model according to the knowledge flow model in virtual R&D. Finally, this study proposes the knowledge kanban functional framework and develops the related technologies to implement the knowledge kanban system. The knowledge kanban system is an effective tool to facilitate knowledge creation, storage, transmission and sharing for R&D engineers to develop knowledge in problem solving and product development, to improve enterprise competitiveness.

摘要

全球化競爭與資訊網路科技的蓬勃發展,促使虛擬企業成目前炙手可熱之商業模式。然而虛擬企業之工作流程亦面臨資料格式互異、時間差異性與流程規劃與整合等問題,再加上傳統工作流程之設計必須預先定義好整個流程,難以滿足虛擬企業所強調的彈性與動態性之需求,因此如何快速規劃滿足目標之虛擬企業工作流程,縮短流程執行時之前置時間,是值得探討的問題,也是本研究的動機。   本研究目的為在虛擬企業之環境下,透過人工智慧與工作流程技術之結合,發展ㄧ「流程自動規劃」之模式與機制。該模式包括流程規劃與流程驗證兩階段,在規劃階段中透過HTN Planning找出能滿足需求目標之Activity和Task,而後利用所提之排序演算法將上述之Activity和Task串接成一完整之程序,在驗證階段本研究將建構一流程驗證方法,以檢驗所規劃之流程是否正確,以避免執行錯誤流程而耗費成本。   本研究之流程自動規劃機制可應用於B2B之整合平台上,並且能與各企業原有之工作流程系統獨立,其優點為能使流程更滿足虛擬企業之動態環境,此外亦能避免企業儲存過多之流程控制邏輯,以減輕流程管理之負擔。故藉由本研究所發展之流程自動規劃機制縮短虛擬企業工作流程規劃之時間,進而增加工作流程系統之彈性與效能,同時在流程發生例外事件能即時重新規劃,以減少因流程變更及延遲所浪費的成本。

Abstract

Global competition and the rapid development of information technology make virtual enterprise one of the most promising business strategies. The success of virtual enterprising heavily depends on the integration of business workflows across enterprises. However, besides the problems of differing data formats, time variation, and system heterogeneity, the multi-enterprise workflow integration faces difficulties due to the traditional workflow design’s lacking of flexibility and dynamicability. Therefore, how to plan workflow for virtual enterprise rapidly and correctly to shorten the lead time is the motivation of the research.  The purpose of this research is to develop an automatic workflow planning model and mechanism for virtual enterprising. The model includes two phases, i.e. process planning and process verification. In the phase of process planning, HTN planning algorithm is first utilized to find out activities and tasks that meet the process goal. A proposed sequencing algorithm is then developed to connect related activities and tasks into a complete process. In the second phase, a verification algorithm is designed to verify the workflow planned in the previous stage to avoid mistakes.  The proposed automatic workflow planning mechanism can be applied to the B2B applications. It separates the workflow system from the enterprises to let the workflow system work independently, that makes the planned workflow more adaptable and reduces the number of controlling logics, and thus releases the burden of workflow management. The result of this research can shorten the time to plan the virtual enterprise’s workflow, increase the flexibility and efficiency of the workflow system, and reduce the exception handling cost, and consequently increase business performance of virtual enterprises.
